Join us to discover traditional skills and contemporary practice
In this class, students will explore topics such as value judgment, turning form, creating depth, accurate proportion, and angular construction as they progress from fundamental drawing to drawing a volumetric still life.
Designed for beginner to intermediate levels, students will learn to accurately draw and paint still lives using a variety of techniques and materials as we progress from under drawing to full color oil painting.
Enjoy gaining a foundation in understanding the structure and solidity of the human head. CFA and MFA Faculty member Manu Saluja will guide you through proportion, color theory, and mixing flesh tones as you create a portrait in your home studio.
