Forensic Sculpture Workshop: In-Person

This world renowned annual workshop is the result of a unique program developed by the Academy and the New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, in which art students used skulls from actual “cold cases” to recreate the faces of the victims, in the hope of identifying unknown persons.

Dates: Apr 6 - Apr 7 (10 am - 5pm) If you want to gain confident control in all aspects of color and color mixing this workshop is for you!
Dates: Apr 13 - Apr 14 (10 am - 5pm) Learn a system to mix any color swiftly and accurately, even with only a limited selection of paint colors.
Dates: May 22 - May 24 (11 am - 6 pm) This 3-day in-person workshop is designed to guide students towards creating a painting from a photo reference using both indirect and direct painting techniques.
