Class Description:

Develop a fun and productive process using acrylic paint!

Discover all the possibilities this versatile medium has to offer. Acrylic paints come in a range of vivid colors – almost any shade you can imagine! They are fast-drying, affordable, and less toxic than oil paint. Students shall explore various techniques in hopes of developing their own working relationship with acrylic paints. We will gather inspiration from contemporary and classical art, and observe the intersection of landscape, interior, and figurative narratives. Learn to harness formal elements such as value, perspective, and temperature to create psychological experiences and command space.
