Join us to discover traditional skills and contemporary practice
Dates: Feb 1 - Apr 25 (Thursdays, 2 - 5 pm) This course examines the language and techniques of watercolor painting from Landscape. Students will paint using a variety of strategies derived from current and historical practice.
Dates: Feb 17 - May 11 (Saturdays, 10 am - 1 pm) The focus of this course is sculpting from observation of the model, with an emphasis on finding the gesture and organizing the large volumes of the figure.
Dates: Jan 20 - Apr 20 (Saturday, 2 - 5 pm) Through demonstration, discussion, and practice, students in this class will gain an understanding of harnessing the science of light and perceptual awareness to produce convincing works of figurative art.
