Class Description:

Take a deep dive into the fantastical yet logical world of color.

By finding your perception of color through observation, you will develop a path towards intuitive color mixing in relation to color theory. Learn to strategically organize your oil painting set up in order to create more cohesive color relationships within your final works of art. Lead by instructor Rami Baglio, class content emphasizes the value of color studies and the multiple facets of the nature of color as a keystone to understanding light effects. Content is delivered through demonstrations, group discussions of color concepts, and feedback on student work. Artists will work on a range of still life, portrait, interior, and landscape paintings, observing from life, photographs, and works of art.
