Class Description:

Learn to mix flesh tones from primary colors, navigate the color wheel as it pertains to skin tones and gain a better understanding of color theory through painting the figure.

In this class students will learn how to paint different skin tones using one limited palette. Over this six week course we will paint two portraits from photographs, using models with different skin colors. Through a combination of lecture and demonstration, students will learn how to premix a limited palette that will provide them with all the colors they need to render human flesh of any color.
