In this workshop you will learn about the structure of the head and neck, how to translate light and shade into color, and various approaches to neutralizing colors using either a controlled or open palette.
This workshop will explain and explore the history and application of silverpoint over the centuries, laying bare all aspects of a contemporary silverpoint practice.
During this two-day workshop, students will have a thorough demonstration of materials and the variety of cutout monotypes, and individual work time to create prints to gain a better understanding of the process.
