Whether you’re an experienced Photoshop user or entirely new to digital media, inventive strategies for manipulating and harmonizing visual references from widely varying sources will open imaginative options in your work.
This class will focus on painting flowers and other botanicals up-close in all their detailed glory. Botanical subjects give a painter every possible challenge to work with: color, pattern, transparency, volume, and texture.
Indirect painting focuses on the Old Master techniques of optical mixing and layering of oil paints. In this class, students will have an introduction on how to construct an oil painting with indirect painting techniques.
