Join us to discover traditional skills and contemporary practice
Enjoy gaining a foundation in understanding the structure and solidity of the human head. CFA and MFA Faculty member Manu Saluja will guide you through proportion, color theory, and mixing flesh tones as you create a portrait in your home studio.
PurchaseIn this class, students will learn the fundamentals of oil painting. Through a series of projects done from prints of masterworks, we will consider foundational topics of observational drawing and painting.
Students will gain new perspectives on color as they are immersed in Impressionist history and techniques.
This class will focus on painting flowers and other botanicals in their natural environment using “direct” painting techniques: mixing our colors carefully and applying the paint with expressive, impasto brushstrokes.
