Class Description:

Unlock your creativity and take your work to exciting new places by generating 3D worlds as well as 3D-printed sculptures.

Bring your imagination to life using Blender, a free and open-source 3D computer graphics software tool. This powerful tool will aid in the creation of unique and exciting reference material for painting and sculpture. In this three day workshop, students will create an array of unique reference images to aid them in the creation of traditional artworks. They will learn how to create realistic environments, sculpt in 3D, paint, and texture in 3D, light a scene, and 3D print a model from a 3D sculpture.
