Join us to discover traditional skills and contemporary practice
Enjoy gaining a foundation in understanding the structure and solidity of the human head. CFA and MFA Faculty member Manu Saluja will guide you through proportion, color theory, and mixing flesh tones as you create a portrait in your home studio.
Whether you’re an experienced Photoshop user or entirely new to digital media, inventive strategies for manipulating and harmonizing visual references from widely varying sources will open imaginative options in your work.
This class will focus on painting flowers and other botanicals up-close in all their detailed glory. Botanical subjects give a painter every possible challenge to work with: color, pattern, transparency, volume, and texture.
