Class Description:

Students will gain a level of understanding of the features of the head and how to form them with relative simplicity.

This digital painting course will focus on different ways a digital portrait can be constructed. We will be using an IPad or IPad Pro with an Apple Pencil, and the application Artstudio Pro. Each week a new topic will be introduced that is relevant to creating artistic portraits with integrity. We will cover sketching, forming, color/value structure, the relationship between shapes and edges, wet painting vs. dry painting, and many more features in Artstudio Pro.
